Experience Sake from Japan at our Tasting, Networking and Seminar Event for Industry.

Sample a great variety of sakes from breweries across Japan and meet with the brewers.

Attend a professional-focused seminar by Monica Samuels of Vine Connections and Yukio Hamada of Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association ~ (held 2:00 - 2:40 pm and again at 4:00 to 4:40 pm)

• Gain fundamental knowledge about sake.
• Learn How to handle sake, temperature, types, etc.
• Ways to prepare & serve sake such as choosing glassware, portion size, etc.
• Pairing sake with non-Japanese food

Registration required and all attendees must be 21 years of age or older to sample alcohol.

This event is hosted by The Consulate-General of Japan in Chicago, Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association, and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

(Please note we will hold a consumer tasting event at this venue the same day from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.)
